Dr. Patricia Blasco, The Research Institute (TRI), will present research on the Longitudinal Study of Executive Function in Children Born Low Birth Weight at the 34^th Annual International Conference on Young Children with Special Needs and their Families in Orlando, Florida this October. Dr. Sybille Guy, TRI, Dr. Serra Acar, University of Massachusetts at Boston, and Tami Martin, WOU graduate student contributed to the project. Dr. Blasco will also lead a discussion of a new DEC position statement and executive summary on Low Birth Weight, Prematurity and Early Intervention. Dr. Blasco chaired a national committee of experts in the field on this topic.
