Creating a Group
NCDB provides Groups as a public service on our website. The content of group work must be directly related to improving systems serving infants, children and youth who are deaf blind. If you are interested in starting a Group contact either of the Group Administrators, Gail Leslie or Randy Klumph with your request.
Be prepared to provide the following information:
Name of the proposed group
Description of the work of the proposed group and its relationship to any of the audiences listed:
- Partners involved in the work of the NCDB Cooperative Agreement or other national partners in the OSEP network.
- Personnel from state deaf-blind projects
- Personnel from state or local eduational agencies
- Families of children who are deaf-blind
- Professionals serving
children and youth who are deaf-blind
- Consumers and young adults who are deaf-blind
Whether the group is planned as a Public or Private group. Private groups may have responsibilities for reporting to public forums about the activities and efforts of their group work
Identify clearly who will serve as group owner
