Using Categories for your wiki pages helps to keep them well organized and easily found by other members of your group.  Creating a Category will produce a header bar for your wiki pages.

To create or edit your group wiki categories, click the Add or Edit Categories link on the wiki entry page.

The following popup window will appear.

Here you can add, edit, delete, and reorder your wiki categories.

To add a new category, simply enter a category name in the box provided and click the Add button.

To edit an existing category, update the category name in the appropriate box and click the gray Check button.

To reorder categories, click and drag the group of gray dots to the left of the category text box.

Deleting Categories

Deleting categories warrants a little more detail. When you delete a category, you need to let the wiki system know what you want to do with any wiki pages within the category.  After clicking the delete button, you'll see a message popup like the following...

If you wish to keep the wiki pages under the category you're going to remove, select another category from the drop-down menu and click the Confirm button.

If you want to delete the wiki pages as well as the wiki category, make sure the selected category is blank.  Then click the Confirm button.

The Cancel button cancels the entire delete process.
