Data Manager & Statistician

Cathy Thomas is a Data Manager and Statistician for the Center on Research, Evaluation, and Analysis (CREA) and a Project Coordinator for the Technology and Information Management Services Center (TIMS) at The Research Institute (TRI). She earned her Bachelor in Psychology and Biology from the University of Rochester and has over 75 post-grad hours from the University of Oregon in Statistical Analyses, Evaluation and Methodology.
Cathy’s primary expertise is in statistics and evaluation both quantitative and qualitative, and she has worked in research for over 25 years. Cathy has worked at TRI since 1999 on multiple state and federal projects in a variety of roles including administration, project coordination, technical assistance, product development, program evaluation, and statistical analysis. In addition to Cathy’s work in CREA, she has worked in the Center on Early Learning, as well as aided in grant writing activities, survey development and analyses.
