Important Message to Child Care Providers - October 1, 2019Español
As you know, 211info has been contacting you to update your program’s information in our state child care provider database for the last three years. During this time, we have held community engagement sessions and heard from many of you that you would prefer to hear from your local Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R) to complete updates. The CCR&Rs have reported that they are still doing occasional updates since they connect with you often about trainings, resources for your business and other types of support. We know that providers have ongoing relationships with the CCR&R staff and they are the ones you will most likely call first if you have specific questions or needs.
As a result of this feedback and the response rate for
211 when conducting updates, we are moving this responsibility back to the
CCR&Rs as of October 1, 2019. The Early Learning Division hopes to support
you in your work and try to create a more seamless system to meet your needs.
Please expect to hear from your CCR&R to update your information and
contact them if you have any current program or vacancy updates to share. You
can find your county’s CCR&R agency on the back of this letter.

What to expect:
What: Your local CCR&R will update your profile information on the child care database.
When: Beginning October 1st, 2019
How: CCR&Rs will begin to contact you starting in October to update your information. If you should contact 211, you will receive information about who to call to complete your update.
Please note: 211 Child Care Team is still doing child care referrals! Your updated program information is crucial in providing quality referrals to parents seeking child care!
