FREE Girls’ Science workshop at OSU

OSU is hosting a free half-day science workshop for Middle School girls called Discovering the Scientist Within.The event is designed to nurture girls’ interest in the sciences by providing a program of hands-on activities paired with positive adult women scientist role models. Girls in 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and their parents are provided the opportunity to meet successful women pursuing a diversity of careers related to science and engineering fields.

The event will be held on Oregon State University’s campus in Corvallis, Oregon, on Saturday, March 5th from 8 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Individual pre-registration is required.

Registration opened January 18th and is open until February 26th,with spots filling up quickly.
