Hood River County School District is pleased to highlight our partnership with Columbia Gorge Arts in Education. Columbia Gorge Arts in Education is a consortium of local artists that serve schools in the region.

The Hood River County School District recognizes the role that art plays in the education of our students. We recognize that art can often be a way for students and families to connect with school and that many of the students we serve in the 21st CCLC program have limited access to these opportunities.

Each site has collaborated with a local artist to create a mural in their school that represents the culture of the area and our student population.

Because of our formal partnership with Arts in Ed we establish a budget line each year to ensure that this is a consistent part of the program we provide to our students.
