We serve 75-90 students at each elementary daily, M-Th Attendance at the middle and high school varies, but averages between 30-45 81% of our students served qualify for free/reduced lunch.

Central High School serving grades 9th-12th
Talmadge Middle School serving grades 6th-8th
Ash Creek Elementary serving grades 1st-5th
Independence Elementary serving grades 1st-5th
Monmouth Elementary serving grades 1st-5th

New this year at the Elementary schools, we have certified and classified staff flexing their schedule to support out of school time, targeting our ELL students for language and literacy development. This has increased our capacity to serve by about 90 more students total and is giving these students a greater chance of success in middle school and beyond. At Talmadge Middle School, enrichment classes such as Sport Aviation, Coding and Art have continued their popularity. Students continue to be tutored in Core subjects during Think tank time.

At Central High School, students are not only academically supported but are offered FAFSA, scholarship and resume writing workshops in addition to access to the career center where mentors are available daily. Enrichments include Auto Mechanics, Environmental Science, Chess and Creative Writing. Every Thursday students have access to The Gate for a variety of fun, rewarding opportunities.

We greatly value our partnerships and collaboration with Western Oregon University, Chemeketa Community College, The Gate, Oregon Ask, Salem Keizer Education Foundation, MINET, Monmouth and Independence Libraries, Experimental Aircraft Association, Salem Art Association and HALO.
