TRI's Robyn Lopez Melton joins a panel of early childhood experts from across the country to discuss the integration of states' QRIS and Head Start programs. The 43rd Annual National Head Start Conference and Expo, titled "The Next Generation of Opportunity, will take place in Nashville,Tennessee on May 16 through 20, 2016.

Elevating Quality: Exploring Retrospective Approaches to QRIS and Head Start Integration
Head Start has an impressive
history of providing quality environments. As states have built Quality Rating
and Improvement Systems to enhance quality experiences for all children, Head
Starts have been incorporated differently in each system. This panel of
experts from California, Indiana, Maryland and Oregon will discuss the unique
successes and challenges in building early learning systems that work for all
children and families through QRIS and Head Start system integration.
