Oregon DeafBlind Project Presentation on April 27, 2018

On April 27, 2018, the Oregon DeafBlind Project will provide a presentation/training in Redmond for the High Desert Education Service District and other constituent school districts in that geographic area.

The presentation will involve providing updates on national (NCDB) initiatives, updates from other states as well as Oregon, and basic information about deafblindness (DeafBlind 101).

The training will also include specific communication techniques staff in classrooms can use to maximize the amount of information they can provide to DB children, to enhance children's communication abilities and their educational goals.
