Welcome to the TRI Podcast page. TRI produces two types of programs that explore the inner workings of the organization. 


"Within These Halls" is a series of interviews with TRI staff, exploring what inspires them to do the work they do. Please enjoy the interviews below.

The second program is our "Bagels and Bites: Simple Carbs - Complex Ideas." This series shares 30- to 60-minute professional development presentations in which our staff share their expertise with others at TRI. Topics range from closed captioning and accessibility to graphic design and resiliency at work.

A conversation with Christina Reagle

Christina Reagle has been in education for more than 30 years, spending much of that time serving the educational system in rural Alaska. A conversation with Linda McDowell

On February 16, 2015, just two weeks after her arrival at TRI, I sat down with Dr. Linda McDowell to learn about the woman who now serves as the Director of TRI's Center on Deaf-Blindness (CDB). Housed within the Center on Deaf-Blindness are the Oregon Deaf-Blind Project and the National Center on Deaf-Blindness (NCDB). Included in her position as Director of TRI's CDB is the responsibility of serving as Executive Director of NCDB - which coordinates and serves deaf-blind projects in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, and the Pacific Island nations.                                                                                                           Recorded: 2/16/15    Duration: 16:24
