Center Director, Center on Educator Preparation & Effectiveness

Dr. Christina Reagle is the Director for the Center on Educator Preparation & Effectiveness. She joined The Research Institute at Western Oregon University after working at Oregon Department of Education and in Alaska. Her responsibilities are primarily focused in educational evaluation and program implementation. Dr. Reagle believes in a systems approach to education beginning with young children and continuing as adults work toward furthering their educational goals or making life changes toward a new career. She has comprehensive experience in Pre-K-12, adult, and university teaching; research and evaluation; educator preparation; program coordination; educational professional development; and grant writing. Besides education Dr. Reagle has been involved in social and mental health services, and justice department federal and state grants and contracts.
