A full day training has been designed for middle school, high school and transition special education teachers, transition and related services specialists, as well as, community partners to learn more about adult service agencies and effective strategies to assist students with disabilities in the transition process.
Topic sessions include: introduction to Vocational Rehabilitation and Developmental Disability Services, Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), ABLE Act, Guardianship, Conservatorship, Power of Attorney, Mental Health, ODE and more…
This will be an exciting opportunity for networking with agencies in your region.
